The Envelope Project

Here is the envelope I'm sending Pip over at Meet Me At Mikes. It's not much but I know it will be received in the same spirit it was sent - that's what Pip's like. I first started reading Pip's blog way back when she had her shop in Richmond. I used to drive past the shop on my way to work and admire her quirky window displays so out of character with the rest of the street. Without Pip I wouldn't be blogging and I wouldn't have meet the lovely people behind Cooking Up A Storm In A Tea Cup, Curbside Style, Maybe Next Week, Cloudbusting, Katiecrackernuts and Style Wilderness. So thanks Pip - hope you like the envelope!

  2. So lovely of you to mention me!! And I notice you're reading that Bill Bryson book I was interested in, how is it?
I've been trying to comment on the Meet Me At Mikes blog lately but it's not working, is it just me or is it a fabulous, but temperamental site??!

  3. I've noticed that people do comment on difficulties commenting on Pip's site. I think it's to do with the software program she uses.

The Bill Bryson book is a great read full of lots of interesting tid-bits of information about the things we take for granted in our daily lives. I've just finished the chapter about the dining room which went into world exploration, the spice trade, how dinner went from a midday meal to an evening one and why forks have four tines! Very entertaining.

  4. I did read part of that in the Age but it sounds great! I'm going to have to tag you when I finally get around to the second part of the challenge that I've just done thanks to another lovely blogger!
