You've inspired me- I went out and bought a baggie of mini m&ms, to use as decorations on the gingerbread I'm making (as a test run) tomorrow....now, if only they would stop *disappearing* like that! Tsk.
...I only ate some, just to check they were okay...no idea *where* the rest went, honestly...
Just as well I made a trial-batch of this gingerbread, as I now know what not to do with the real giving-away-as-gifts batch! Thicker, less baking time, less treacle... And yes, now we have to eat all the duds. Sigh. It's a hard life.
You're right Manu. I made mine too thin too. Next time I'll go much thicker - I like them to be a bit lebuchen-y like that great batch you made last year.
Now I'm trying to remember what I made last year- I'm sure it was better than my current attempts so far! With them being this thin and crispy, they would make great tree-decorations though... Sadly we have no tree, so will just eat them until all evidence is gone.
YaY!!!!!!!!!!!! *s*
ReplyDelete.....how cute.....
ReplyDeleteSmarties! They look gorgeous, I think I'll have to go on a mission to buy some new biscuit cutters!

ReplyDeleteOh yum!! They look delicious ... I've been rather lazy this year and haven't done any baking yet! Oops ... there's still time right? ;)
ReplyDeleteThere's always time for baking! Just don't eat all those M&Ms Manu, buy those cookie cutters Lucy and get the oven fired up Tracey!
