Link love...

Autumn is here, there's a chill in the air and Henry has decided that 5am is an appropriate time to get up every morning. To say I'm a bit sleep deprived would be an understatement. I'm seriously thinking about just getting up and dressed at 5 and being done with it rather than pleading, begging and coaxing Henry back to sleep (with very little success). Maybe I could use the time to find some more gems like these ones...

  1. This is a lovely post Caz. You found such wonderful things. I've got to try making the chocolate cake just because I positively HAVE to make one that's ACTUALLY got Garam Masala in it!! New to me...!

The Literary proposal was so lovely...and the wood blocks amazing...

I hope Henry starts sleeping longer in the mornings. We had exactly the same problem with Hannah when she was little..I remember I always used to end up falling to sleep on her bed whilst reading to her at bedtime and Ahmad would come up looking for me. I hope you manage to get an early night tonight...

Oh and thanks for the nod to my post...

  2. There seem to be a lot of the dreaded 5am starts around at the moment - a terrible child conspiracy, perhaps? These links are all gorgeous, thanks (and hope you get some more sleep soon!)

  3. Hi Caz,
Thanks for posting about The Art of Afternoon Tea! Debby I can highly recommend the use of Garam Masala in this cake, sounds strange I know but really yummy I promise you! Caz, here's hoping you can snatch a few hours sleep in the not too distant future.

  4. Deb, I know what you mean about falling asleep in the kids beds after storytime - an all too familiar situation here! Glad you liked the links. There are just so many beautiful things out there on the web aren't there?

  5. I really hope it's not a child conspiracy Lucy just a period of re-adjustment with the end of daylight saving and the coming of winter (she says hopefully)...

  7. I love autumn ... it's such a beautiful time of year.
Those embroidered stockings are stunning!! I would definitely wear those (though would probably put a hole in the straight away!) ;)
